Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity awaits for an Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference across a district-wide K-12 population. This full-time position covers the entire 2026-2027 school year, offering the chance to provide vital support to students in various grades and developmental stages. The assignment begins August 12, 2026, and concludes May 22, 2027. You'll play an essential role in fostering students' success by developing and implementing individualized therapy plans. Supporting a manageable caseload of 30-35 students, your expertise will help empower learners and collaborate with a dedicated educational team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in New Mexico NPI (National Provider Identifier) number Active Medicaid provider number Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings welcomed Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit Passion for supporting students of varying abilities from kindergarten to high school
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students, adjusting interventions based on individualized education plans Conduct thorough evaluations and write detailed reports documenting student progress Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create strategies that enable student access and participation in the educational environment Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Support students across multiple grade levels, adapting to diverse needs and educational goals Experience the fulfillment of seeing your impact over the course of a school year.
