Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with disabilities across various settings, including clinics, schools, and home health environments. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance the quality of life for our clients. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their occupational therapy needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' ability to perform daily activities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, for effective discharge planning. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and home health strategies. Work with pediatric populations to facilitate early intervention strategies that promote development. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Familiarity with ICU settings is a plus. Knowledge of anatomy and its application in therapeutic practices is essential. Experience in pediatrics, assisting patients in various environments such as clinics, schools, and home health settings is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to develop effective discharge plans that address the needs of patients transitioning from care settings. Pay:
$90.00 - $110.00 per hour
