School Occupational Therapist | Reno, Nevada BlazerJobs - 3.4 Reno, NV Job Details Full-time | Contract $35.53 - $53.66 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' success as a School Occupational Therapist near scenic Reno, NV. This full-time role focuses on providing high-quality OT services across 1-2 school sites, serving a diverse caseload of elementary and secondary students.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Nevada OT license (required) Previous experience in school-based pediatric OT highly valued Comfortable managing a caseload of 50-55 students Expertise with traditional OT responsibilities: conducting therapy sessions, assessments, and evaluations Familiarity with IEP process and documentation Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group therapy to support student motor skills and functional participation within the school setting Complete thorough occupational therapy assessments and evaluations Participate in developing, implementing, and monitoring students' IEPs Document sessions and progress according to district protocols Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals Travel between one or two school locations within the district as required Engage in team meetings with paid administrative time allocated Stay up to date with provided district training and utilize the assigned IEP system (training available)
