Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school setting as an Occupational Therapist on a full-time contract for the 2025/2026 academic year. This opportunity centers on supporting a diverse caseload of 50-55 students across one to two locations, working with elementary and secondary learners. Be part of an itinerant team, traveling between sites within the district to deliver meaningful therapy and make a real difference in students' daily lives.
Key Qualifications:
Active NV OT license required Experience with school-based occupational therapy preferred Comfortable providing direct and indirect therapy, completing assessments, and conducting evaluations Familiarity with IEP documentation and compliance Strong communication and collaborative skills to work with educators, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined by IEPs for students across a variety of ages and needs Complete thorough assessments and evaluations to inform tailored intervention plans Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Support students in achieving greater independence in classroom and daily activities Travel between assigned school locations within the district as needed
