Job Description

Pay Range $36.54-$48.41• Occupational- Part time-Day shift-Req 9258 Sign On Bonus and Relocation Eligible Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed, to restore function and prevent disability following injury and disease. Additionally, provide postoperative rehabilitation, enables patients to reach their maximum functional capabilities with the competent use of both restorative and adaptive treatment techniques. The staff therapist coordinates, delegates, and supervises responsibilities assigned to support staff (Occupational Therapy Assistants and Aides). The staff therapist participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department, and participates in continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. Provides input for budget formulation, assists in evaluating department performance, and takes appropriate action to remain within budgetary guidelines. Participates in all infection control duties and procedures, departmental equipment training, organizational safety, and fire safety programs. Ensures that patient data entries are accurate and entered on a timely basis. Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety, and fire safety programs.
Job Qualifications:
Certified by the National Board for Certification. Compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed, to restore function and prevent disability following injury or disease. Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and occupational therapy programs. Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Job Details:
Inpatient and outpatient caseload, primarily inpatient Daily scheduling that could be condensed to 3 days a week On call weekend rotations (currently on an 8 week rotation to cover swingbed)

Specializing in the upper extremity care from shoulder to fingertips Post-operative care of the hand and orthotic fabrication Heavy Rotator cuff repair post-operative caseload Strong communication Independent with the ability to prioritize well All internal candidates must apply via our website.
