Job Description

Occupational Therapist (1099 Contractor) - School-Based & Sensory Gym Immediate Opening Through End of Current School Year + Opportunity for 2026-2027 School Year Out East Therapy of New York is seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor (1099) for the final two weeks of the current school year, with the opportunity to continue into the 2026-2027 school year. This position includes providing services in both school settings and our sensory gym, offering a varied and rewarding caseload of pediatric clients.
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to preschool and school-age children. Complete evaluations and written reports as needed. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers. Maintain required documentation in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Current New York State Occupational Therapy License. Pediatric experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor.
