Job Description
Cayuga Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a 144 bed facility, is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist to work alongside our amazing staff in our recently renovated gym. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating residents and subsequently developing a treatment plan that will meet their needs with activities that will help them become more independent in their daily lives. The Occupational Therapist will observe and assess the progress of our residents and prepare detailed reports accordingly. Looking for weekend coverage and coverage for OTs taking paid time off. All Occupational Therapists must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a current New York State Occupational Therapy license. Experience in a long term care setting is preferred, although not necessary. We encourage newly graduated Occupational Therapists to apply.
