Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting students' growth and development as a contract Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting near Medina, NY. This opportunity allows you to make a significant impact by helping students access their education and participate fully in school life. Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and professionals, where your expertise will be highly valued and your contributions truly matter.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active and current Occupational Therapist license Experience providing OT services in schools or with pediatric populations preferred Strong understanding of educational intervention, sensory integration, and IEP process Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate students' motor skills and functional abilities within the school environment Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups Consult with teachers, parents, and other team members to support student participation and success Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, sessions, and student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
