Job Description
Summary We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential therapeutic services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our group home setting. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in our residential facilities. Immediate per diem opportunities available in Niagara County. Enjoy the flexibility of choosing your own hours and days, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' daily living skills. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and families about treatment processes and goals. Provide support for clients with autism and other developmental challenges. Requirements Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New York. Strong knowledge of physiology and patient care practices. Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with autism is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. OPWDD Experience is a plus but not required
