What you will do:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by children and young people with disabilities. Utilise clinical reasoning to propose effective solutions and interventions, enhancing safety and independence through a range of equipment and adaptation techniques. Collaborate with internal and external teams to coordinate comprehensive interventions aimed at maximising community independence and quality of life. Facilitate the implementation of minor and major adaptations, including the coordination of Disabled Facilities Grants. Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapy students and non-qualified staff, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
