Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact by supporting students' growth and development as a contract occupational therapist working with grades K-12. In this role, you'll engage with a diverse group of 24 students, providing essential therapy services that foster greater independence and achievement across the school environment. You will work closely with staff, students, and families, all while enjoying a flexible schedule of up to 20 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist preferred Experience in school-based, home health, or other pediatric OT settings Knowledge of best practice for delivery of OT services within K-12 educational systems Ability to tailor interventions for a range of ages and capabilities Skilled in documenting progress and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational skills to manage 3,090 minutes per quarter divided across caseload Excellent communication and rapport-building abilities
What You'll Do:
Assess and provide therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade Deliver occupational therapy interventions according to IEPs across a caseload of 24 students Meet the required 3,090 minutes of service time per quarter Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to promote student success Maintain thorough records and participate in IEP meetings as needed Adapt strategies to support students' engagement, participation, and independence in classroom and daily activities
