Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a real impact in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a dynamic educational setting on a contract basis. This opportunity places you at the forefront of student support, blending a variety of OT skills in a collaborative and inclusive environment. Work closely with school teams and families while helping students reach their fullest potential.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state. Previous experience in school settings is highly preferred. Experience or comfort with home health, healthcare OT, and teletherapy modalities. Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, diverse educational environment. Passion for supporting students' physical, emotional, and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy evaluations and interventions in classrooms, homes, and via teletherapy as needed. Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other specialists to create and adjust therapy goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. Offer consultation and training to school staff and families to support student success across settings. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert insight to interdisciplinary teams. Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student growth and independence.
