Occupational Therapist (OT) -
Home Health Kettering Home Care Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Join a team where compassionate care and clinical excellence make a difference every day. Kettering Home Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide skilled home health services that help patients regain independence, improve daily functioning, and achieve their recovery goals in the comfort of their own homes. Guaranteed base salary plus uncapped bonus potential Mileage reimbursement Flexible scheduling Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) participation Company-paid life insurance Employee Assistance Program Dedicated support team for scheduling and patient admissions Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans Provide skilled OT services as ordered by the attending physician Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Improve strength, mobility, coordination, and functional independence Educate patients and caregivers on safety, disease management, adaptive techniques, and equipment use Help reduce rehospitalizations through patient and family education Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with agency, Medicare, and federal guidelines Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes Supervise and provide clinical guidance to COTA team members Qualifications Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of employment Minimum one year of OT experience in an acute care setting Home health experience preferred Valid driver's license and current auto insurance Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills Ability to meet the physical demands of the position This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys autonomy, patient-centered care, and collaboration with COTA professionals while helping patients achieve greater independence at home.
