Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract role as an Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students in a welcoming school environment near Westerville, OH. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about making a meaningful difference as part of a collaborative special education team. You'll manage a caseload of 24 students, providing targeted interventions and support with a commitment not to exceed 3,090 minutes per quarter—allowing for focused, impact-driven care. With a flexible schedule capped at 20 hours per week, there's room to balance your expertise with other professional or personal pursuits.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid and current Occupational Therapy license for Ohio (OTR/L) Prior school-based OT experience preferred; home health or healthcare OT background welcomed Experience delivering occupational therapy services across K-12 age groups Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to design and implement individualized, evidence-based interventions
Key Responsibilities:
Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services (3,090 minutes/quarter) Support students in achieving educational and functional outcomes Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school policies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations This contract role is perfectly suited to someone who values flexibility and the opportunity to focus on individualized student support.
