Job Description
Occupational Therapist Outpatient Lymphedema Westlake University Hospitals United States, Ohio, Westlake 960 Clague Road (Show on map) Jun 17, 2026 Organizes and conducts Occupational Therapy program to facilitate the rehabilitation of people with physical and/or psychosocial disabilities.
The Occupational Therapist directs the patient's participation in selected activities/treatments to restore, re-enforce and correct pathology to promote and/or maintain good health.
Performs evaluation(s) and develops an effective treatment plan appropriate to a patient's rehabilitation needs within the care continuum.
Performs effective treatment techniques in a competent manner.
Educates patient/family/caregiver in applicable health information, treatment and prevention.
Initiates and participates in the discharge planning process.
Performs other department activities such as, but not limited to documentation, billing, support of department operations, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
Full time 40 hours per week.
The patient population is adult outpatient.
Monday-Friday.
This is the day shift.
Lymphedema and neurological expereince preferred.
