Job Description

Category Schools - OT - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support a 5th-grade student with mobility challenges and assistance needs during the remainder of the school year. This role requires providing specialized therapeutic services to help the student with daily activities such as eating and mobility within the school environment.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering one hour per week of focused occupational therapy intervention tailored to the student's specific needs. Addressing mobility limitations and helping the student with feeding assistance and other daily living skills. Collaborating with educators and school staff to implement therapy goals effectively. Utilizing telehealth, teletherapy, or in-person methods as needed to ensure consistent and effective care.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based practice. Skilled in delivering therapy to children with mobility and feeding challenges. Familiarity with telehealth and teletherapy platforms is an asset. Ability to work independently with limited supervision during scheduled weekly sessions.
