Job Summary AllianceHealth Madill is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team in Madill, Oklahoma. In this vital role, you will evaluate, design, and execute patient-centered therapeutic interventions to help individuals reclaim their independence, safety, and confidence in daily living and work activities. Working under the prescription of a referring physician, you will establish measurable goals, continually track patient progress, and collaborate with a dynamic care team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Essential Functions & Job Duties Comprehensive Clinical Evaluations :
Conduct detailed occupational therapy evaluations to accurately assess patients' physical, cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs, ensuring comprehensive documentation of all findings.
Individualized Care Planning :
Design and document evidence-based treatment plans with clear, measurable goals, providing a seamless roadmap that can be easily followed by fellow OTs or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
Therapeutic Interventions :
Deliver safe, targeted therapeutic exercises, functional activities, adaptive equipment training, and comprehensive patient/family education with accurate documentation for every session.
Progress Tracking & Reassessments :
Monitor, analyze, and document patient progress regularly, dynamically adjusting care plans as required and keeping referring physicians and the care team fully aligned.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration :
Work seamlessly alongside physicians, nurses, speech therapists, physical therapists, and case managers to cultivate an integrated, holistic approach to patient recovery. Age -

Adapt treatment techniques skillfully across diverse patient populations, modifying interventions to safely meet specific age related and condition-specific milestones.
Safety & Environment Management :
Cultivate a clean, safe, and highly organized rehabilitation environment, ensuring proper functionality, calibration, and sanitation of all therapeutic equipment.
Clinical Mentorship :
Act as a professional resource by orienting new staff members and mentoring occupational therapy students to support the growth of the profession.
Regulatory & Billing Compliance :
Maintain rigorous compliance with organizational and legal standards, ensuring all electronic medical record (EMR) documentation and billing entries are completed accurately and on time.
Operational Adaptability :
Perform other clinical or operational duties as assigned to support department needs, while maintaining regular, dependable, and punctual attendance.
Job Qualifications & Requirements Experience & Environment Required :
At least 1 year of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
Licenses & Certifications State Licensure :
Active, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) issued by the Oklahoma state regulatory board (Required).
Life Safety :
Basic Life Support (BCLS / BLS) certification (Required).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Core OT Practice :
Deep knowledge of foundational occupational therapy principles, evidence-based modalities, and functional anatomy.
Diagnostic Skills :
High proficiency in diagnosing functional limitations, administering standardized tests, and building customized treatment trajectories.
Communication Excellence :
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for educating patients, advising families, and aligning with clinical peers.
Time Management :
Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of managing a caseload effectively while keeping documentation current.
Leadership Mentality :
Natural capability to instruct, guide, and support incoming staff and clinical students.
Ethics & Privacy :
Strict commitment to patient privacy (HIPAA) and adherence to professional and ethical clinical regulations.
Technical Proficiency :
Comfortable navigating Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for prompt reporting and charting.
