Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference supporting students' growth and development by delivering occupational therapy services in a school-based contract role. This exciting opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise in both traditional and teletherapy settings, making a positive impact on children's day-to-day success and well-being.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Oregon Previous experience providing OT services in K-12 educational settings Proficient in teletherapy platforms and remote therapy delivery Strong assessment skills for identifying and addressing fine and gross motor challenges Collaborative approach—comfortable partnering with general/special education staff and parents Experience or comfort with COTA supervision within a school environment Effective communicator and organized, dedicated to supporting student goals
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group OT sessions—on site and via teletherapy Conduct comprehensive motor skills assessments and develop treatment plans Guide and support students in meeting fine and gross motor milestones Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement IEPs and support classroom engagement Supervise/mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants as appropriate Document services and progress in accordance with school policies Provide resources and consultation for teachers and caregivers Imagine nurturing students' development and independence in a supportive school environment, with flexibility to use both in-person and teletherapy tools.
