Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role focused on supporting early intervention within the community, serving children and families near Roseburg and throughout Douglas County. As a dedicated Occupational Therapist, you will provide essential services, primarily in home settings, to help young learners reach their developmental milestones. This opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 11, 2027.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience in schools or early intervention programs is highly valued Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles for pediatric populations Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home-based visits throughout
Douglas County Role Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized occupational therapy to children in early intervention, addressing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and other support staff to develop effective strategies and track progress Travel to client homes, primarily in Roseburg with occasional outreach to surrounding areas Document assessments, intervention plans, and student progress in accordance with program guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning and development for each child's needs This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in early childhood development within a supportive educational setting.
