School Occupational Therapist | Salem, Oregon Soliant - 3.9 Salem, OR Job Details Full-time | Contract 3 days ago Qualifications Master's degree Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic and rewarding contract opportunity designed for passionate Occupational Therapists eager to make a difference in K-12 education. Located near Salem, OR, this onsite position offers the chance to work across a vibrant student population from kindergarten through high school. Four positions are available, offering engaging collaboration and peer support in a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The contract is set from the upcoming school year through June 4, 2027, providing a stable and fulfilling tenure in a welcoming educational environment. You will serve students in person, supporting their developmental and academic growth with hands-on interventions. Additional opportunities are available for those interested in summer assignments, including Summer School and Jumpstart Kindergarten programs in July, allowing for ongoing professional enrichment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current, active Oregon state OT license and SPED certification School-based OT experience preferred Strong communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt therapy to diverse student needs across K-12 Must provide contact information for the three most recent supervisor references for candidacy consideration
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy interventions in a school setting Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines Contribute to a positive and inclusive school atmosphere Participate in summer programming, if interested Experience the fulfillment of supporting student success in a collaborative and friendly setting, while enjoying the continuity of a multi-year contract.
