Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a meaningful contract assignment near Salem, OR, providing critical Occupational Therapy support to K-12 students. This full-time, onsite-only opportunity spans the academic year through June 4, 2027, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week. With four openings available, you'll collaborate with dedicated school teams while supporting a diverse student population. In this dynamic school-based setting, you'll design and implement individualized therapy plans to help students develop the skills needed for academic and daily living success. Additional summer work is offered, with opportunities to support programs such as Summer School and Jumpstart kindergarten each July. Your expertise can profoundly impact students' educational journeys. Here's what we're seeking: Qualifications & Experience Valid Oregon SPED certification or Occupational Therapy license Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) in an educational environment preferred Ability to provide three recent supervisor references for consideration Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to delivering therapy exclusively in-person, on campus Responsibilities Deliver assessments and develop individualized therapy interventions for students in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Support inclusion by adapting materials and strategies for student participation in classroom activities Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations Consult with teachers, caregivers, and staff, providing resources and guidance Participate in IEP planning, implementation, and evaluation Engage with summer program options (optional) for continued student support Become a valued contributor in a fulfilling educational environment, shaping brighter futures for students in need of your expertise.
