$66/hour + weekly pay Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students within the Scappoose School District in Oregon. In this school-based role, you will help students build the skills they need to thrive both academically and functionally. This position focuses on in-classroom (push-in) services and collaboration , rather than pull-out therapy, making it ideal for therapists who enjoy working closely with educators and integrating care into the daily learning environment. What You'll Do Conduct student evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Provide therapy services within classroom settings Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and support staff Offer consultative guidance to improve student engagement and independence Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with care plans Assignment Details Full-time, onsite position (no hybrid or remote option) 40 hours per week for the full school year Caseload ratio approximately 70:1 (additional OT support in progress) Primarily consultative, classroom-based model Located in a peaceful, rural community about 30 minutes outside downtown Portland , offering a great mix of lifestyle and accessibility Qualifications Active Occupational Therapist license in Oregon (or ability to obtain) At least 1 year of experience preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to meet all federal, state, and local compliance requirements Current CPR certification (if applicable) Required health screenings/documentation per state guidelines What We're Looking For A therapist who enjoys working as part of a team Someone comfortable in a consultative, classroom-focused model A flexible, proactive professional passionate about supporting students Hiring Process Initial phone screening with program leadership Formal interview coordinated with the district Online application and onboarding through NWRESD Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs •Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
