Job Description

Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an exciting opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting students in a dynamic educational setting for the upcoming school year. This contract role offers the chance to make a tangible impact, working throughout the entirety of the academic year, with the potential for year-over-year renewal based on your fit and performance. Interviews are expected to begin in early June, giving you the perfect timeframe to plan your next rewarding move. Candidates should demonstrate a deep understanding of OT practices in school environments, and be flexible as caseload details are finalized closer to the start of the year. With only one full-time position currently available, this is an excellent chance to provide consistent, meaningful services within a supportive team.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for the state Experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and related service providers Strong organizational and communication skills Flexibility and adaptability as caseloads and student needs evolve Passion for fostering student independence and success in the school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive OT services to students as assigned Implement and document individualized treatment plans Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed throughout the school year Maintain compliance with all required documentation and timelines This contract offers stability for the entire school year and may continue annually for a therapist who is a strong match.
