Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity awaits an Occupational Therapist with a passion for helping young learners reach their potential. This part-time contract position is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to make a meaningful difference in early intervention. Working within the preschool population, you'll provide itinerant support services across multiple sites, fostering growth and independence in children during critical stages of development.
Key Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania Experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings strongly preferred Understanding of early intervention and best practices with preschool-aged children Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between sites Strong collaboration, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to preschoolers in multiple school locations Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure successful learning experiences Adapt interventions and classroom strategies to support diverse developmental needs Maintain accurate and timely records per district, state, and federal requirements Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insight specific to early intervention
