Position Description:
Prestige Home Care Agency is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT). This OT would be based out of our office, located in Northeast Philadelphia, but would provide in-home physical therapy services to our patients, located throughout the Philadelphia area and surrounding counties. We have flexible schedule options available as well for those looking to pick up cases both inside and outside of the 9-5 work day. Get to go home in the evenings and not worry about paperwork! The OT would work standard business hours, 9am - 5pm, completing at least six visits per day and doing paperwork in those hours as well. Within working hours our OT would have the independence to create their own schedules for their Prestige patients. The OT services would include giving care and treatment, conducting routine assessments, observing patient health, documenting medical findings, and communicating with the patient and/or their family. Prestige case managers and other staff assigned to the case.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement appropriate individualized care plans. Continually assess and revise the care plan, and participate with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate. Educate and instruct clients, family members or other client representatives, in care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety and independent living. Accurately document observations, interventions and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided. Submit such documentation to Prestige in a timely manner, per company policies.
Position Requirements:
We are looking for someone that is caring, diligent and responsible; someone who understands the unique challenges and rewards of working with patients in the comfort of their homes and helping them to lead independent, full lives. The OT candidate must also meet the following: Ability to drive throughout the Philadelphia area for home visits. Valid driver's license required.
Required license or certification:
Occupational Therapist (OT) Be capable to complete timely and thorough reporting Prior OT and skilled service experience preferred Ability to speak proficiently in a language other than English is also a plus.
Compensation:
Competitive, with consideration of level of experience. Full time, comprehensive and free benefits.
