Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting opportunities are available this academic year for experienced Occupational Therapists seeking a fulfilling contract role with a strong focus on elementary and low-incidence populations. Three OTs are needed for positions beginning August 17th and ending June 11th, supporting the opening of 12 new ASD support classrooms. These roles offer a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, and there may be flexibility for part-time arrangements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist Background in school-based OT settings required Experience with home health or broader healthcare OT valuable Comfort working with elementary-aged children and those with low-incidence disabilities Strong collaboration and communication skills for working in dynamic, multidisciplinary teams Dedication to fostering student independence and success
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to support students' educational and developmental needs Evaluate and implement individualized therapy plans Collaborate with educators, ASD classroom teams, and families to coordinate care Document progress and maintain compliance with state guidelines and caseload caps Participate in team meetings and professional development activities Contribute insight for classroom accommodations, sensory supports, and strategies that enhance student participation What to
