School Occupational Therapist | Villanova, Pennsylvania Soliant - 3.9 Villanova, PA Job Details Contract 3 days ago Qualifications Master's degree Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding role supporting students with diverse needs in two dynamic educational settings near Villanova, PA. This contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact working with students in grades 1-9 requiring Emotional Support and Autistic Support. You'll split your expertise between two schools, each offering unique caseloads. At one location, you'll support grades 4-8 with a small caseload of two students (one direct session weekly and one consult monthly). At the other, you'll work with grades 1-9, providing direct or consultative occupational therapy services to fourteen students, with individualized schedules that may include weekly or bi-weekly sessions. Supporting students with varying amounts of compensatory services will keep your role both engaging and impactful.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Valid Occupational Therapist license for Pennsylvania Experience in a school-based or pediatric healthcare setting is highly desirable Comfort working with children and adolescents who have Emotional Support or Autistic Support needs Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Open to both seasoned professionals and new graduates, although supervision is not provided
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative OT services as outlined in IEPs or 504 Plans Develop and implement strategies to support sensory, motor, and functional performance in the classroom Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed Engage with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support Adapt services for students requiring compensatory OT time Take advantage of a role that offers flexible scheduling aligned with school days (six-hour school days; days per week to be determined).
