In this vital role, you will work with children and families using a coached caregiver model to help families best achieve their goals! Sessions can be conducted at families homes, daycare, libraries, parks or other locations in the community which support the family's needs! Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and sensory functions to develop individualized treatment plans. Manage caseload independently and schedule based on your and the family's availability Implement therapeutic interventions across various a variety of settings in the home and community Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans that align a with family outcomes Work with individuals with disabilities or developmental conditions such as autism or pediatric needs to improve functional outcomes. Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and adaptive strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and case management records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for effective therapy planning. Desire to work with young children 0-3 and their families to promote success in all areas of development Previous pediatric experience is a plus Ability to work independently in the field Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
