Occupational Therapist (OT) - Traveling Pediatric Therapy $50 - $60 an hour
Location:
Charleston, SC (In-Home & Daycare-Based) Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to trade the clinic walls for something new and exciting in Charleston, South Carolina? Join Spoken Word Children's Therapy, South Carolina's award-winning provider of pediatric therapy, as we expand our premier services in the Charleston area. We are a family-led organization with 13 years of experience, and believe that therapy is most effective where children live and play—at home and in their natural environments. As a traveling OT, you won't just be a provider; you'll be a dedicated partner in helping children gain the skills they need for the "job" of childhood. The Role In this traveling role, you will provide personalized, evidence-based interventions to pediatric patients across the Grand Strand. You'll enjoy the autonomy of a mobile practice while being backed by the reputation and support of a top-tier state provider.Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Evaluations:
Assess fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and activities of daily living (ADLs).Customized Care:
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on functional independence and developmental milestones.Collaborative Care:
Partner with parents, caregivers, and daycares to integrate therapeutic strategies into the child's daily routine and environment.Progress Monitoring:

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.Licensure:
Current (or eligible) South Carolina state licensure and NBCOT certification.Experience:
