Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth and school-based services within a full-time ASD program setting. This contract position is located in Westland, MI, and involves working with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder in a school environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering occupational therapy services through telehealth and teletherapy platforms Providing in-person support to students with ASD in a structured school setting Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintaining accurate and timely documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Desired qualifications and experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license Experience in telehealth and teletherapy service delivery Background working with pediatric populations in school-based or home health settings Understanding of therapeutic approaches for children with ASD Strong communication and organizational skills This role offers engagement in a specialized program designed to support learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder, fostering therapeutic outcomes through innovative service methods including teletherapy.
