Remote Occupational Therapist in CA

Category Schools - OT - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a qualified Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth and teletherapy services within a school setting. This role focuses on delivering remote OT support primarily to high school students, although K-12 students may also be included.

Location:

Hesperia, CA Schedule:

Approximately 12 hours per week throughout the entire school year

Caseload:

Around 25 students, with a primary focus on consultative services

Key Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services via telehealth to K-12 students, mainly targeting high school-aged learners Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as needed Consult with educators and other professionals to support student development and learning objectives

Desired Qualifications:

Current Occupational Therapy license and credentials appropriate for school-based practice Experience or training in telehealth and teletherapy delivery models Comfortable managing a consultative caseload and adapting services for remote delivery Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, and school personnel This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with consistent weekly hours during the school year, focusing on meaningful impact through telehealth OT intervention.
