Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students as a contract occupational therapist working within a school-based environment close to Broomfield, CO. This part-time role allows you to focus your expertise where it's needed most—in person—by assisting a caseload of 20 students, helping them succeed in both academic and functional areas. The assignment runs from August 13th, 2026, through May 20th, 2027, totaling 1.5 days each week.
Key Qualifications:
Current occupational therapy license required Prior experience in a school-based OT setting is highly valued Ability to effectively support K-12 students with diverse needs Excellent communication and organizational skills for collaborating with school staff and families Commitment to fully onsite work—remote/virtual services are not included
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine student needs related to academic performance and daily living skills Develop and implement individualized OT intervention plans Track student progress, maintaining detailed documentation and records Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals Deliver direct therapy services in compliance with educational plans and state guidelines Attend IEP meetings, contributing professional input on student needs and interventions
