Summer - Occupational Therapist (up to 3 positions)
Location:
Delesesto Middle School Prep Days [NOT PD Days]: June 29-30, 2026
Program Dates:
Mon-Thurs July 6-30, 2026
Data Day:
July 31, 2026
Hours:
8:15am-12:45pm Pay $73/hr (contingent upon enrollment and funding)
Job Description:
Potential in person, 3 days service/2 days evaluation team. This position has dual roles. OT is required to provide direct services to ESY students and complete evaluations through the summer compliance team. Provide direct occupational therapy services to students enrolled in the Providence Schools accordance with IEPs, and to complete evaluations as needed. Daily rate of pay, contingent upon funding
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
Certification Requirements:
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of RI Bachelor's degree in an applicable field of education from an accredited college or university.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide direct and/or virtual occupational therapy services to students consistent with IEP requirements Provide consultation to classroom teachers and staff and needed and required by IEPs Provide written reports on services provided and/or progress notes as required by the special education office Willingness to work as an itinerant to cover all components of this assignment Willingness to work with families of walk-in students on carry-over activities for the home setting and scheduling of therapy sessions 6. Willingness to complete home instruction for OT services Documentation of services for Medicaid purposes For OTRs only: completion of walk-in evaluations Any/all duties that may be assigned by the
