1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an outpatient physical therapy setting with a focus on orthopedic upper extremity cases and Epic EMR experience preferred. Details Outpatient physical therapy setting Primarily orthopedic upper extremity patient population Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:45 PM Epic EMR used; outpatient orthopedic experience highly preferred 13-week contract Requirements Current, active OT license (license required if applicable) Minimum 1 year of relevant experience BLS certification required (AHA only) Outpatient orthopedic experience highly preferred CHT certification is not required Additional Information Perform patient evaluations using history, observation, and subjective/objective measurements to develop individualized plans of care Provide therapeutic interventions addressing musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, and developmental impairments Maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, treatment notes, charges, and discharge summaries within departmental timelines Collaborate with OTAs regularly to discuss patient cases and establish goals Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, treatment, and order clarification Contribute to departmental performance through professional development, competency training, mentorship, and performance improvement initiatives Maintain SC LLR continuing education requirements independently
