Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is a chance to make a meaningful impact working onsite with a diverse K-12 student population. Bring your expertise and creativity to help students develop essential skills for their academic and personal growth. As part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to deliver top-notch therapy services. Your role centers on empowering students, adapting strategies to meet individual needs, and ensuring every child reaches their highest potential.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in South Carolina Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Comfortable managing a K-12 caseload within school environments Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families Passion for supporting children's physical, emotional, and academic development Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and implement individualized OT plans Provide direct therapy to students, both individually and in groups Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom activities and environments Monitor student progress and maintain clear, timely documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to interdisciplinary planning Serve as a resource for parents and educators, promoting best practices in occupational therapy Embark on an enriching professional adventure in a supportive school environment.
