Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students from PreK through 12th grade as a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers meaningful work in both school-based and home health settings, allowing you to apply your skills in diverse educational environments. With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you'll have the structure to develop strong relationships with students while helping them achieve their academic and personal goals. Your expertise in pediatric occupational therapy will be essential as you manage caseloads typically ranging from 45 to 50 students. Whether you're collaborating with teachers and families, developing individualized treatment plans, or adapting environments for student success, your contributions will shape positive outcomes across multiple grade levels.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure in Occupational Therapy Experience with school-aged populations (PreK-12 preferred) Background in home health, healthcare, and school-based OT settings Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement student-centered interventions Understanding of IEP processes and compliance with state and federal regulations
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' needs and create individualized treatment plans Deliver therapy services in both traditional school and home health settings, as required Track progress and communicate results to families, teachers, and support teams Assist in the development of IEPs and maintain compliance with documentation standards Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support students' development This is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference throughout the academic year, from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
