Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your skills as a licensed Occupational Therapist can create lasting impact for students at various grade levels. Work with a dynamic educational team to deliver essential OT services, supporting students' growth in elementary, middle, and high school settings. Your expertise will help guide the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure compliance with relevant documentation requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active OT license and relevant state certification Experience working with students in K-12 environments, including elementary, middle, and high school Solid understanding of IEPs and special education processes Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams Excellent organization and documentation skills Previous experience with Medicaid billing in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with each student's IEP objectives Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing updates on present levels and progress Develop and document individualized OT goals and track student achievement Complete Medicaid billing paperwork accurately and in a timely manner Maintain comprehensive records of therapy sessions, assessments, and student outcomes Communicate regularly with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student success This contract-based position allows you to make a meaningful impact in a school-based environment while honing your professional skills.
