Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy services to K-8th grade students for the upcoming academic year, beginning on August 11, 2026 and running through May 28, 2027. In this dynamic role, you will serve approximately 45 students across two school locations, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Your expertise will help students unlock their full potential, fostering growth and independence in the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Occupational Therapy license for South Carolina (SC OT license required). Experience working with school-aged children, particularly within K-8 educational settings, is highly valued. Strong collaboration skills for working effectively with teachers, administrators, and families. Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation for school-based practice. Ability to adapt and thrive in a multi-site role while managing an engaging caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within classroom and small group settings. Maintain meticulous documentation to meet compliance and best practice standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student access and participation in the educational environment.
