Our team delivers personalized, evidence-based care in various settings including homes, schools, daycare centers, and our innovative outpatient clinic equipped with a sensory gym. Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Rock Hill outpatient location! In this role, you will deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to children in the outpatient setting. Your expertise will help children develop essential life skills, improve functional independence, and enhance their overall quality of life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with a variety of needs. Duties Assess children's functional abilities and develop individualized care plans tailored to each child's unique needs. Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, feeding, and self-care skills. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive functions. Collaborate with families, teachers, healthcare providers, and case managers to coordinate care and ensure seamless service delivery. Support discharge planning by preparing families for ongoing therapy needs post-treatment or hospitalization. Work with children with diverse conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), disabilities, or those recovering from acute or post-acute care episodes. Document progress accurately in patient records while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working in pediatric settings such as early intervention programs, outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals (including ICU), skilled nursing facilities, or home health environments. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and therapeutic techniques relevant to pediatrics and geriatrics. Prior experience assisting with ADLs, discharge planning, case management, and working with individuals with autism or disabilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with outpatient therapy modalities including clinic-based services and school-based programs is preferred. Pay:
$48.96 - $60.35 per hour
