Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Occupational Therapist working on a contract basis for the 2026-2027 school year. Make a positive impact by providing essential OT services to a diverse K-12 student population. This position offers full-time hours, with your schedule set Monday through Friday—allowing you to enjoy evenings and weekends free. Your expertise in delivering individualized and group therapy will play a pivotal role in supporting students' academic and functional success. The assignment begins in August 2026 and continues through May 2027, giving you the academic year structure many professionals value.
What You'll Bring:
Valid OT licensure with eligibility to practice in the state Experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school environment preferred Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals for students with diverse abilities Effective communication, organization, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop tailored treatment interventions for K-12 students Provide both direct and indirect therapeutic services, focused on academic and functional skills Collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development Maintain accurate records and participate in required documentation Enjoy guaranteed weekly hours, with no duties outside your contracted schedule—no bus or car line coverage required
