Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise and passion for supporting student growth to a dynamic contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist for the full 2026/2027 school year. As a vital member of a collaborative educational team, you'll deliver on-site therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload in a thriving school environment. Your commitment will directly impact students' ability to engage, learn, and flourish both in and out of the classroom.
Qualifications and Skills:
Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist license (required) Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, families, and school staff Ability to assess and address various pediatric needs including sensory, fine motor, and functional life skills Skilled in developing individualized treatment plans and progress monitoring Adaptable, problem-solving attitude and passion for helping young learners succeed Awareness of current best practices in school-based occupational therapyResponsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students across K-12 as identified by their educational plans Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student access and participation in school activities Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with state and district policies Offer consultation and training for school staff on strategies that help students achieve academic and functional goals Participate in IEP meetings and maintain ongoing communication with all stakeholders This full-time, onsite contract offers the opportunity to make a noticeable difference in the lives of students while building strong professional relationships in a supportive school community.
