  • OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a School Occupational Therapist for the academic year.
This engaging assignment runs from August 2026 through May 2027, requiring your expertise two days per week (16 hours total) within a vibrant educational setting. Collaborate with a supportive school team and help students build the skills to succeed both academically and in daily life.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license for South Carolina (or eligibility) Previous experience in a school environment is highly valued Strong communication skills to partner effectively with teachers, staff, and families Passion for working with children and adolescents across a wide range of ages and abilities Proficient in assessment tools and electronic documentation Flexible, creative, and compassionate approach to therapy
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions to K-12 students Evaluate and assess students' functional abilities, sensory needs, and fine motor skills Develop, implement, and periodically review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with educators to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting Guide and educate staff and families on strategies for student growth and access Maintain accurate records and documentation according to school and state guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive student support
