Description Job Summary:
A licensed occupational therapist of the Children�s Therapy Services Department is responsible for direct and/or indirect care of patients served through the Erlanger Health System.
Education:
Required:
BS in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
Preferred:
MS in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
Experience:
Required:
Knowledge of general Occupational Therapy principles and practical skills
Preferred:
N/A Position Requirement(s):
License/Certification/Registration Required:
Tennessee State Occupational Therapy Licensure. BLS completed prior to going to the unit/ department and maintained going forward .

N/A Department Position Summary:
The employee must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. The employee must participate in team meetings and discharge planning. They must comply with the standards as set down by the American Occupational Therapy Association regarding treatment procedures and professional ethics. The employee must comply with standards described in the departmental policies and procedures.
