Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-8th grade students as a contract Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time role, spanning 37.5 hours per week, enables you to make a genuine impact across two vibrant campuses near Arlington, TX. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with guaranteed weekly hours and both direct and indirect services counted towards your hours.
Key Qualifications:
Active state licensure and registration as an Occupational Therapist Experience providing OT services in an educational environment, preferably K-8 Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families Strong communication and documentation skills Adaptability in supporting diverse student needs
What You'll Do:
Assess and develop individualized therapy plans for students with varying needs Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Document student progress accurately and maintain required records Consult with educators and staff to promote accessible classroom environments Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Focus solely on therapy responsibilities—no bus duty, lunch supervision, or after-hours district assignments
