Job Description

CAmerican Medical Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated, independent Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2026-2027 school year! Join a supportive team serving students in Corpus Christi, Texas, and help them develop the fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills necessary to thrive in the classroom.

Corpus Christi, TX (On-site)
Setting:
School-Based (Caseload details discussed during interview)
Hours:
37.5 hours per week (Full-Time)
Contract Length:
2026-2027 school year
Hourly Rate:
Up to $50/hour
Requirements Licensure:
Active Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners (TBOTE) license (or eligible to obtain).
Certification:
NBCOT certification required.
Education:
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
Experience:
Previous school-based experience conducting fine motor and sensory evaluations, developing IEP goals, and participating in ARD meetings is highly preferred. In this role, you will work closely with students to improve their functional capabilities, focus, and participation in school activities. As an OT, you will play a vital role in supporting student independence and learning. Your responsibilities include completing comprehensive fine motor, visual-motor, and sensory processing evaluations, creating relevant IEP accommodations, participating in ARD meetings, and training educational staff and families on strategies to support student success.
