Occupational Therapist, PRN Days (55354) El Paso Childrens Hospital - El Paso, TX 79905; Rehabilitative Services - El Paso, TX 79907 Apply Overview Level Experienced Position Type PRN Job Shift Day Education Level Graduate Degree Category Health Care Apply Description Position Summary Functions independently and consistently in the delivery of quality care to occupational therapy patients in accordance with individual patient needs, physician orders, department policies and procedures, and standards of practice. Evaluates patients, plans and implements treatment programs, and documents all treatment accurately. Works in conjunction with other members of the health care team to ensure patient needs are met. Educates patients and families. Provides care to patients of varying ages with age related needs.
Qualifications Minimum Position Requirements Work Experience:
Two (2) years of related work experience.
License/Registration/Certification:
Current Texas license or eligible for licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS).
Education and Training:
Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent education if trained outside of U.S.). Masters Degree preferred.
Skills:
Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and procedures. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good problem-solving ability to determine best methods to address patient problems. Share job details to
