Job Description

This contract opportunity is tailored for a skilled Occupational Therapist with a passion for working in educational environments and making a meaningful difference in children's lives. Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred Demonstrated expertise in assessment, intervention planning, and implementation Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and support staff Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide Occupational Therapy services to students per individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct evaluations, create treatment plans, and monitor progress across the school year Consult with teachers and school staff, offering strategies to support student participation and success Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with families and team members to develop student-centered goals Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance and ethical guidelines This setting welcomes proactive professionals who are flexible and ready to work closely with the school-based team, particularly those interested in communicating and collaborating with MJ's Occupational Therapy team.
