110 Dylan Way, Midlothian, TX 76065 About Midtowne Meadows Midtowne Meadows Health & Rehab is a family-owned and operated skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Midlothian, TX. We are committed to providing the highest quality care in a supportive, appreciative environment for both residents and staff. Position Summary We are seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our team. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing treatment to patients/residents to help improve their ability to perform daily living and functional tasks. This role works collaboratively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support individualized treatment goals and quality outcomes. Responsibilities Assess patients'/residents' physical, cognitive, and communication abilities to develop individualized treatment plans. Provide guidance, education, and support to patients/residents and family members. Assist patients/residents in improving participation in daily activities based on individual needs and abilities. Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to support pain management and functional improvement. Monitor patient/resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports in accordance with facility standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications Required:
Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the applicable state. Willingness to take responsibility and work collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work weekends as needed.
Preferred:
Experience with NetHealth software.
