Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting students across multiple schools as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. You'll be working full time—four days a week for a total of 30 hours—making a direct impact on children's academic and personal growth. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with educators and families to develop creative and effective strategies that help students thrive in their educational environments.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience as a school-based OT is highly desired Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and manage a caseload across multiple campuses
Your Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs Evaluate, plan, and implement interventions that support student learning and participation Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development activities Offer recommendations and training to school staff on supportive strategies and accommodations
