Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based environment as a part-time Occupational Therapist on a contract basis. Provide essential support to students, helping them achieve success both in and out of the classroom through tailored therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state. Previous experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is highly desirable. Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families. Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Comfortable managing a part-time caseload with flexibility and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments to identify students' needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized occupational therapy plans aligned with each student's goals. Provide direct and consultative therapy services within classroom and pull-out settings. Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and related service providers to ensure students' optimal participation in school activities. Document interventions, progress, and communication according to school and regulatory guidelines. Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, sharing expertise to help shape student accommodations and support plans.
